HELP! WHICH TEK?

New member here in need of a general direction. I am looking for the best tek for smokable DMT crystals. I am most concerned with purity of end product and product that is the most healthy to the body. I have seen the DMT TEK section but Which tek is best for my aspirations? Please help. Many thanks.

what you are looking for is the end result of any and all of the teks presented here. (apologies if I missed the "leave a little lye in tek" or the "contaminate with aluminum tek"

Read a few or all of them and pick one that you think you can pull off (and procure ALL of the needed items/materials). Then follow each step extremely carefully and don't substitute things.

There are no lame teks here, just a few different paths to the same goal.

the worst one Ive read is the lazyman tek (uses a big bowl and that is a bad idea)

The best one Ive read is vovin's (really time consuming and some specialized gear)

q2121 , BLAB, amor fati all those seem pretty doable

Thank you both for your answers. I realize that there are multiple paths to the same end. I have read that some methods create a product that is less healthy then other methods. I dont care how complicated the process is or what specialized equipment I need, all that matters to me is the healthiest and purest end result. That is the tek that I am looking for.

Like madcap said, all of the teks in the wiki lead to the same end result, if followed to the letter.

then go vovin's tek. He's got many failsafe purity steps in there.


But, again.. a carefully followed noman's, BLAB, Amor Fati, Q2121 tek will be really really clean. Vovin tek for me would be an option if some bastard was torturing my family and basing the amount of torture on the purity (or lack thereof) of of the final result (and I would probably try and figure out chromatography in that case). Or (on a happier note) if I was a contestant on $1,000,000 Spice Extractor Challenge.... actually even then, I think a BLAB with sodium carb wash FASI precip with sodium carb and h2o conversion to freebase would be pretty damned clean.

Basically, you have a asked for a defacto summary and judgement of the entire contents of the extraction and advanced chemistry sections of this forum. Pages Pages Pages of debate and discussion are taking place. If enough people play in this thread, you will be recommended every single tek by at least a few trusted people.

This is what raised the flag that said to me that as profound as DMT may be, it may have harsh adverse effects on the body. To me a part of being spiritual means loving and respecting your body.

It was the persistence of some of us here at the Nexus that got the warning added to the QT Tek that you linked. Harm reduction is one of our core values on this forum. As a result, people keep a pretty close eye out for safety issues in the teks that make it onto the Wiki, so you should be fine with any of those.

Just be safe about handling chemicals. Gloves and goggles are a must when handling caustic chemicals. Keep flammable solvent fumes away from spark sources. If you use plastic containers, make sure they are an appropriate grade of plastic to handle the solvent. Before using a new source of naphtha, evaporate a little of it to make sure there aren't any non-volatile additives.

Swim has been using noman's tek with heptane in stead of naptha with great sucess and has been getting pretty big xtals when precipitated in the fridge
