Help with extraction tek

I’m about to do my first extraction ever unfortunately I wasn’t able to get the same pickling lime as my friend told me to get will calcium hydroxide 98% work the same or....? I’m new to all this so anyone that could help please do thanks.

Pickling lime is calcium hydroxide. It's food grade, while the product your friend recommends might not be. The extraction process makes this distinction something of a non-issue.
