Migrated topic.

gh0stie

Rising Star
found in east gippsland(east victoria), victoria, australia

looks quite similar to the few pictures i have seen on wikipeia, erowid etc.

if they are the corret plant, does the bark contain dmt? theres quite a few dead ones and a lot with bark falling off. (i don't want to hurt the live and healthy ones)

Seems your out of luck, the veins on the pictures you have supplied have one main nerve with smaller ones coming out of it like any normal leaf, however acacia phlebophylla and acacias in general usually have 3-5 individual main veins. If you look closely at your pics and the ones on the net you'll know what I mean.

From what I've read acacia phlebophylla has one of the highest concentrations of DMT but I can't seem to find any actual percentages for the bark, however they are apparently very endangered.

You would be much better of looking for Acacia Obtusifolia, as they are abundant in that area.

ahh bummer.. thanks for the reply,
yea i wasn't that intrested in attacking them if they were, just thought it would be cool knowing i had a few on our property..
yep i will try obtusifola, theres a hell of a lot of them in the area, infact i think you helped id some of the pic's i put up here..
cheers.

ok well went for a walk yesterday afternoon and got a few leaves just to double check, i actualy had the luck of finding a few trees with seeds/pods so maybe that will help a little more in the id (im damn sure these are obtusifolia)
