in the middle of a Naptha precipitation from STB tek and instead of crystals it is getting what look like yellowish fibers or filaments. This Naptha has been through a double coffee filter and cotton filter, and no fibers were present in the liquid when it was warm. Any ideas on what these are and how best to get rid of them? The Naptha was pretty clear slightly yellow when added to the freezer, not instead of crystals these strange free floating fibers are everywhere. I'm attaching some photos. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

can u pull a small bit out let it air dry. smell it (does it smell of spice). place it on a spoon and lighter under spoon does it melt as soon as it melts if you remove heat does it re harden?

I've had similar looking trays. Filter off the Naphtha & save it, there could still be spice in it, you can use it for another extract. Then let the stuff at the bottom of the tray dry, scrape it around and chop it up, keep moving it and letting it dry a bit. I've smoked it like this when dried before and it's been fine for me. You could re-crystallise it (use fresh naphtha) and it should come out whiter

Thanks. Filtering out the fiberous looking floaters and drying them makes them look now like off white crystals. Naptha liquid is evaping to see if anything in there worth keeping. Will post pix shortly. Any suggestions for re-xing? Is Bestine better than Naptha for re-xing? Any good techniques?
