Help with saving extraction

Hey I have been using the DMT for the masses Norman tek. I successfully pulled 2 jars with 25g of rootbark a few days ago so I thought I would try my luck with double that amount. I loaded 4 jars with 50g of rootbark, 750ml distilled water, and 50g of lye. I kinda rushed putting the lye into the water but I waited till the jars were completely clear before adding the rootbark. I added the rootbark, shook up the jars and I checked about an hour later and this weird stuff formed on top. Is this an emulsion? If so how do I save my extraction? I used up all the rootbark I had left in this extraction.

Edit: I have not added any naphtha yet, I just opened the jars and the chunks of dark brown goop had mostly dissolved. I mixed all 4 jars with a spatula and dissolved the rest of the goop that was floating on top. The liquid in the jars are also more viscous than my first extraction was.

that might be dmt gunking at top who knows..but you cant find out anything until you add your naptha. i dont see your jug there but what ever your using get it in whatever you can swirl or roll the layers end over end

just add a bit more lye unitll the emulsions dissolve. 750ml of water for 50 grams of lye/MHRB is alot IMO. Ive had my best extractions using 600ml to 100g of lye/MHRB

For my nomans ext. I used 50mhrb (prepowd) + 50lye + 750ml h2o = thick clump! Added 250ml h2o + lye (1:15ml of h2o) then it was perfect!
