new to the site and DMT in general. I'm just wondering... When dissolving in heptane, will 95% heptane suffice? It seems to be hard to get hold of 100% pure.

Yes, 95% will certainly be sufficient. 99.8% purity is analytical standard grade, but it will set you back more than just a few pretty pennies (sigma-Aldrich sells it in Australia for $232 for 2.5L while 99% costs $166).
