Hi guys, I just realised I'm yet to introduce myself here on the forum. I'm from Sydney Australia and am yet to try DMT, though I'm really keen after reading all the amazing trip reports here. I've done LSD and mushrooms and loved them both and can't wait to take it a step further.
I don't know anyone to get DMT off, so it looks like I'm going to be extracting.. It's an exciting idea. It's like I'll be brewing my own magic potion to take me to another world. I'd love to talk to you guys about extracting, particularly from other aussies that have worked with acacias (I love that our national flower contains arguably the world's most potent hallucinogen). I plan to be respectful of the plants I take from, only taking phyllodes and fallen branches and that seems to be a pretty strong theme here, which makes me like this place all the more.
I don't know anyone in person who does or would be willing to do DMT, so it's great that I've stumbled upon such a massive and awesome community.
I don't really have much else to offer you guys, so here's something I wrote after my first seriously shamanic LSD experience.
Acid is nowhere you can't go with your hands in your pockets. It's not a destination, it's a journey. It does not have to be shared, but it can be in good company. Acid is going for a long walk. It's knowing what you're seeing can never be expressed but needing to tell everyone anyway. It's getting sidetracked. It's copacetic. It's closing your eyes and seeing artwork that would take entire civilisations hundreds of years to create forming and disappearing at light speed and in infinite detail, only to be replaced seconds later by another millennia of art. It's watching a shitty brick barbecue become the most intricate and beautiful Tibetan sculpture before your eyes, the grass at it's base and the trees behind it writhe with new formed tentacles and the largest moon in 20 years become a fiery sun at it's back. It's being on an astral plane. It's watching billions of tiny balls of light flow perfectly around everything in harmony with a level of organisation that could only be described as a visual symphony.
It's seeing the threads of your very consciousness.
Anyway, nice to meet you all. Feel free to say hi
