Hello,

I would like to start by saying that this is an incontrovertibly magnificent forum. You've successfully created a community whose level of beauty and diversity is rivaled only by its unrelenting innovation and creativity. I've been extracting spice for a few years now, and I've been lurking these boards just about the whole time.

I've learned SOOOOOO much that I felt that at this point I had no choice but to make an account and begin contributing, as best I can, to the veritable cornucopia of information that you glorious people have so painstakingly created over the years. Thank you! I feel humbled and honored to be allowed a place in all this. I promise I won't let you down!

i second that! the nexus is truly a wonderful place

welcome welcome!

hope to see you around and hear about your experiences

:)

much love and positive energy

Welcome to the Nexus! :)

I would love to read any experience reports you have to offer! Do you have experience in any other psychedelics, lsa, lsd, shrooms, etc.? Hope to hear from ya! :)

Much love & Sincerity,

Welcome to the Nexus!

This community is incredible indeed and im incredibly honored to be a part of it! It gives me a feeling of 'home', its so reassuring to see all these dedicated people trully helping one another and increasing the collective knowledge with such a respectful conscious attitude :)

Im glad to have you join us!

If I may ask, what method of extracting have you been using mostly? Dry/wet teks, A/B vs STBs, which solvents, etc?

What about oral DMT, did you try that? How did that go for you? What about other psychedelics?

See you around!

Endlessness: I've typically been using traditional A/B's with a few tweaks for efficiency. I found that if strong acids are used, the initial 3 boil phases can be completely dialed out without suffering yield loss. Typically I'll extract a kilo of Mimosa at a time, split into 2 separate gallon HDPE containers. I begin by filling each container up about 2/3 or maybe slightly more with water as a rough measure, then pouring the water into a pot, and bringing it to a medium boil in two separate increments per container. I usually keep 2 separate buckets with 500 grams Mimosa a piece. After the water has reached a reasonable temperature, it is then acidified (usually with HCL) and poured off into the buckets. I've found that if you keep the water at a reasonable temp with proper acidity, the amount of tannin and n-oxide impurities are greatly reduced later on in the process. After the water has been poured off, the mixture is left to sit for about an hour with increments of vigorous stirring in between. Once I feel that the mixture has had enough time to thoroughly pull the alkaloids, I then pour off through nude pantyhose for rough filtration, and then once more through a funnel fitted with cotton balls into the jugs. I then mix a solution of 60-70 grams sodium hydroxide per 500 grams bark with water in separate mason jars in increments of 10 grams sodium hyroxide every few minutes to prevent violent exothermic reaction. Once the mixture is thoroughly cooled it is then added to the jugs, and shaken until the contents have turned black. The basic aqueous phase is then pulled 3 times with VM&P naptha with the containers heated externally in a hot water bath, and the freeze precipitated over night. Once the total yield is collected it is then recrystallized with bestine until satisfactory results are reached. That's about it in a nutshell.

and for your question about my experience with other psychedelics, yes I have a laundry list of different rc's, as well as LSD, mushrooms, HBWR, etc... oral DMT as well, is one of my favorite things, though I'm sure we'll get into these subjects later on :d

Thanks again for your time. I'm already enjoying the hell out of myself here!

Welcome TheSelfBehindTheShadow,

the Nexus is truly amazing, isn't it? Ever since I joined the word community has gained a new and completely different meaning for me. As well as things like engagement and contribution etc. There's so much to be learned from what we are collectively creating here, and of course from psychedelics as well :P

cheers & love
Enoon
