As he points out, there is a lack of cultural grounding regarding this plant in the community unlike with B.Caapi. This is likely because Aya + DMT is a living tradition whereas for Peganum Harmala there is a less well known tradition for psychoactive use in general outside of the ritual and medicinal purposes we see, whereas it seems to have been 'rediscovered' (or it found us) the most sacred use combining it with the DMT.

I was surprised to see that the Haramaline and THH have nearly identical brain wave maps while people typically report opposite characters for the 2 compounds. Only a small difference in the fast gamma. I don't know if that really means anything, or even know much about brain waves :b but i found it curious
I guess maybe they work exactly on the same regions of the brain but interact differently with it and harmaline is less "pleasant"
