Frequent hyperspace explorer for going on 5 years now and I get flashbacks to my really intense breakthrough experiences all the time and I personally wouldn't say they were traumatic, I don't think I've had a breakthrough experience id classify as "traumatic" myself.
Usually when I come out of the breakthrough experience I remember absolutely nothing for the first couple weeks then it all comes back to me in bits and pieces over the following months. I personally feel as if the flashbacks are giving me the ability to take the experience in more and integrate it into my life even more.
I just hear most of the time people have flashbacks are due to traumatic experiences but even my near death hyperspace journeys I wouldn't classify as traumatic, I personally welcome those experiences because those are the ones I gain the most healing from.
What's everyone else's experience with DMT flashbacks and how do they affect you?

, so zero effects on me. To keep the discussion clear, could you define what you mean by a flashback? The term is used to describe a wide range of experiences, which can make it difficult to have a precise conversation without a shared understanding.
