So since my first post ive done a lot of thinking about what the entitys had said " focus and listen to me" and ive come to the theory that they were saying hey this is real pay attention to what we are saying to you, this is a learning experience??? do i thought this about 20 minutes after my experience when i was integrating with skeemer, i also had some other theorys on what they might have been saying the next day and just randomly since. So is the most accurate answer soon after when your mind is still more open than normal, or is it when you analyze the experience over and over and end up with other possible answers that make sense as well? now i am somewhat confused on if i really have figured out what my lesson was to be? AM i looking to far into this? I want to go back but am apprehensive on if its ok? i want to take all that i can from each and every experience and expand my spirituality and to know myself more spiritually if that makes sense.
maybe some other outlooks and more experienced people can enlighten me on these questions

Thank you for listening

Essentially when you "understand" something during the experience, from the way I see it, one of two things are happening. Either you have truly expanded your consciousness to understand something you couldn't/wouldn't have otherwise in which case you'll need to compress the idea(s) in order to be able to retain and understand it(them) in your normal consciousness, or rather you've been shown some ideas that in your psychedelic state have connections drawn between them, but as it turns out when you return to normal reality, you can't make sense of it because they in fact don't have a true logical connection between them, and it was merely an illusion of connection; additionally I think it makes sense that if the ideas don't have a true, rational connection, that such thoughts would be more difficult to remember since "senseless" thoughts would have low priority in memory.

Agreed. I think we tend to underestimate the extent to which our brain simply "feels" like it understands everything. I think somewhere between conventional reality and this feeling of absolute lies a mix of both where we project and see meaning. Our interpretations, both in the moment and after, are products of who we are as individuals. We de-code what we see in terms of what is important to us, the meaning comes from us. That doesn't make it any less important, it's a process that allows us to extract meaning from our own values, lives, etc. It's about allowing ourselves to unfold by subjecting ourselves to a new reality.

Well, that or we're receiving messages from hyperdimensional beings :)

" focus and listen to me"

Maybe you're telling yourself to focus and listen to your own thoughts so you can grow and become you

Integration is important no doubt, but, IMO dont be too hard on yourself.

When you think about voyaging again and a voice immediately says, no! Then I believe its not time.

There is not always a literal interpretation or translation of your experience that happens and allows you to completely digest and integrate every experience. IMO thats one of the beautiful things of HyperSpace, the mystery.

Forrest Gump once said about life being like a box of chocolates is also true of HyperSpace. You never know what youre gonna get. I find that especially true of integration. I never know what its gonna consist of. I could be ready to go in another minnute or it could be next year.

Apprehension is very normal. If you dont have at least a little IMO there is something wrong with you.

You may not get an explanation after every voyage. If not thats OK, just make sure to take some time to bask and revel in the afterglow thats important.

If the set and setting are right and you are attempting to go back and there is some resistance and it wast meant to be, you'll know. If thats the case, dont go.

Theres always tomorrow?

For me it has been a lot of practice learning to understand.
Focus and listen equals meditation which is on of the best way's to prepare for these kind of experience.

I don't have much experience with DMT compared to many here but I have a lot of experience with high doses of shrooms.
My first trips with shrooms didn't tell be much cosmic truths but little by little I learned to come back with deeper understanding of the experience.

Shamans need to go through extensive training. One trip is not going to do it all.
