How long can Chaliponga and Chacruna be stored?

Migrated topic.
No one can say for certain, but to be safe you could do an extraction on the plants and convert it to DMT fumarate which should store indefinitely without degrading.

Any degradation that does occur is probably conversion of DMT to DMT N-oxide (which is still active). I think Chacruna has a high content of N-oxide to begin with so you might not notice a difference. You could also vacuum-seal the plants and store them in a cool dry place, this would slow the conversion.

It's probably good for at least a year, maybe more if stored under good conditions.

Analysis of leafs such as chacruna have NOT shown any N-oxide even when specifically looking for it using reference standards.

I'd think that they can be stored basically indefinitely, at least in terms of DMT remaining stable.. If they are improperly stored, maybe they get moldy or something, and I don't recommend drinking a mold brew, though you could probably extract and purify DMT safely from it even in that case.

So just in case, better store in cool/dark/dry, as with everything.

I once had 50g of powdered MHRB stored for about ten years. Kinda forgot I had it, eventually I extracted about 750mg of good spice. The powder was stored in a draw for most of that time and survived three house moves. I know it is a diffrent species but would imagine that leaves should last better than powder (less surface area) so I am willing to bet you could store for at least ten years if not a lot longer (as long as you avoid getting it wet or leaving out in the sun).

Hope this is of some help.
