How long will my powdered MHRB be good?

SWIM purchased half a kilo of powdered MHRB from an online vendor about 3 weeks ago,SWIM hasnt started the extraction process because they are still purchasing the materials. How long will this MHRB be good if it still is!?!? please help asap I may need to start today... SWIM is going with the norman freeze precip tek btw

I believe that MHRB will keep for a very long time in an airtight container in the freezer, with little to no loss of alkaloids.

A friend of mine got some powdered bark which smelled like dmt. After a couple of months he's examined the leftovers and the smell was gone.

The absolute most that you can do (at least conveniently) to preserve the alkaloids in your mhrb would be to place it into a glass container that has an airtight seal (i.e.: a mason jar), after which you would store the container in a dark, cool place that is free of moisture. The only reason that I wouldn't recommend storing it in the freezer is the high moisture-content of freezer air. However, at this point the amount of potency that could potentially be lost would be minuscule and unnoticeable.

The reason for storing in glass is the fact that, although airtight, tupperware containers are of a porous material that can "breathe", if you will, and glass is not porous at all.
