how much caustic soda to use?

can some one please give me an idea of how much caustic soda to use in a mescaline tek..
iv got about 1 liter cacti juice and there was 50g of cacti used?

I always read whatever the tek says and then add an extra spoonful - generally it wont make a huge difference as long as you end up somewhere in the ball park since the a/b will remove any extras anyways
