How to grow big crystals?

Hi. I recently saw Drugslabs video in which Nellie talks to a dealer, I think it was really fun. But something in the video surprised me, thosr DMT crystals!. I mean, I know there are of terrible purity with lots of oils in it, but they where massive. I wonder how could someone do that? My first thought is very slow recristalization from hot heptane or nafta. However I might be wrong, maybe the key is a very slow freze precipitation(for example using ice cooling it slowly)

I made a post a couple months ago about the exact details, but I did a 5 day re-x. I took something like 1.4 grams and did a cleanup and re-x with naphtha. I used maybe a pin head sized seed crystal in the center of jar and left uncovered in cupboard for 3 days, then a day in fridge and a day in freezer to finish it off. I got large crystals outta it, the biggest being something like .9 grams. It was huge and oh so beautiful. I had to smash it up just to make it usable.

So that is your answer. A highly concentrated solvent slow cooled and slow evaped will yield them big boys.

I would suggest to produce a concentrated solution of DMT in a good solvent. Then search for an antisolvent with a low boiling point, which is soluble in the solvent. Put the DMT solution in a small vial and this vial in a containment with a screwing cap. At the bottom of the containment with the screwing cap ad the antisolvent. Close the containment with the screwing cap. And then you have to wait.

The antisolvent will evaporate over time and will dilute the solvent. This will lower the solubility of the solvent and will force the DMT to precipitate and further slowly grow the crystals.

With this method you will obtain big, perfect crystals

As an improvement, you can use a seed crystal.

Just out of curiosity I will do it sometime

I read on the internet the following:

A dog put Spice into a Jar and dissolved in hot Naphtha. He put it in a closed Pot and placed it into a room temperature atmosphere. Then after 6 h it was placed in the fridge. Then after 6 h it was placed into the Freezer. Crystals were not bigger than else.

Putting the Jar into a "closed" system with air isolation should normally ensure the slowest cooling. But either it was not efficient or that did not grant bigger crystals. :thumb_dow
