how to weigh goo ?

hi folks
as i have read,goo is very potent
i want to make changa from it,but how can i weight it since oils are present,so the pure weight isnt accurate

can u help me on that ?

if it wont crystalise at all and is a persistant goo then you could just dissolve it in IPA and infuse it into some weighed herb, then re-weigh after it has dried.

when i have done this i used less herb than needed so that i could always add more herb to get it to a 1:1 ratio.

^^ This is more efficient use of your material but if you don't want to make infused herb, for whatever reason...
You could weigh a blade of some sort then scrape the goo and weigh the blade again. Thats what I've been doing

If you mean finding out the weight of pure DMT without all the other components of the goo, then that's very hard to do without sophisticated analytical equipment and procedures.

You could turn a measured amount into DMT fumarate, weigh that and calculate the original DMT freebase amount, but that assumes that only DMT would form a precipitating fumarate salt, not any possible NMT component of your goo.

I would just make some enhanced leaf based on the weight of the goo. Guess somewhere between 50% and 95% DMT content of your goo. Then do a bioassay of the leaf until you have found a quantity to your liking. What more do you need anyway?

I use parchment paper, razor blades and the freezer with much success. The goo will never fully stick to the paper, and if it seems like it is then pop it in the freezer and it will harden a bit making it easy to get off in one piece. Use a razor blade to get any remaining off.

eyeball it like grandma used to do in the kitchen, but with changa! i do, an my last batch blew my friggin mind, DMT is unpredicatble by nature anyways right? i concintrated down to what i thought was 1 to 1 but idk, i just know it feels right i had to exhale as i came up because i thought it be too strong, but, it was a huge + in my book. was listening to tribal seeds "harvest time" and appriciated the fruits of my labor during my trip because i jus had that feeling....

I would strongly suggest that you not do this. It might be slightly less risky if the user had a significant amount of previous experience with DMT, or substantial experience with other psychedelics at the very least, but I still would not recommend it. If someone were to eyeball what seemed like a small dose, and it was actually a very large dose, there could be very serious consequences. Particularly if it was their first experience with DMT.

Grandma was eyeballing sugar and flour and whatnot in the kitchen, not incredibly powerful psychedelic drugs. :!:

Well eyeballing it worked fine for me, finding the intensity, and how fast i drew the hit, and how long i held it for all added up to dosage, there is no "correct dosage" if your being precise. Just a best "guessitmate". So lets mesure how much freebase your really smoking out of that vaporized 40mg dose and held it a quarter as long as u were supposed to u prolly get wut ave. 10mg? its never precise my friend. With the trips always being different, its hard to even think intensity, IDK, my opinion...
BTW dont quote me on it, haha, jus my opinion, even tho it worked for me, may not work for others.

what 3rdI said. make some changa with it (how goo is best used IME) and pack a bowl! see how much material thru trial and error it takes to get you where you want. lots will probably disagree, but I have always found weighing to be unneccesary in most situations. not advising recklessness!!!!!!!!!! just start off slow until you find your sweet spot. Like, take ONE large hit and hold for twenty seconds. If it leaves something to be desired, NEXT TIME try ONE big one followed by a second sizeable one. Next, TWO large tokes. Don't jump the gun.

Really, I do not want to give dangerous advice, and do not intend to! As long as you start out slow, I honestly believe you have more control over the dosage than with weighing. So many factors go into it besides weighing, such as vaporizing technique, composition of extract (ESPECIALLY WITH GOO which varies in alkaloid content pretty wildly, who knows by weight alone how much is DMT, how much is NMT, plus many other alkaloids that are found in the acacia species), how long you hold the hit in, size of hits, time in between hits... not to mention psychological factors and individual sensitivities.... never owned a scale in my life and have managed just fine.

If you have a scale and would feel more comfortable then it definitely couldn't hurt, ESPECIALLY if it makes you feel more comfortable about what you will be undertaking.
