How We Smoked DMT – Our Experience & Recommendations

personally i want only the dmt in my vape,
the puffco is excellent and once you have your dose figured out a breakthrough is quite easy for me.
30 mg gets me great visuals, 35 mg even more vivid 40mg i leave the body.
yet to go higher
there is another similar product called yocan black pocket which is cheaper and the temperature is selectable by the degree via a small digital screen. i recently bougjt it but have not used it yet as i really like the bubbler on the puffco.
the bubbler is not needed and the puffco can be used as is
i measured the temp on the 2nd lowest setting and it looks to be around 160c
i knew nothing also about this subject but some reading goes a long way and then some spending...lol
i have heard great things about the gvg so its like anything in life.... find what suits you.
i bought both vapes online, which whhile might be risky, i had no other choice

It could of course be that you need much more than most people to reach a breakthrough, but if you’re needing around 40 milligrams, that might also be saying something about the device itself. In that case, the Pufco may simply not be very well suited for DMT. For most people, when vaporization is efficient and the vaporizer is working properly, 20 to 25 milligrams is already enough to have a breakthrough experience. And 40 milligrams is right at the edge where some people start to experience a complete blackout.

Stargazer my friend you are far smarter than me. As I sit here, [Readacted by Mod] Honestly that sucks but I'm more disappointed I've been sitting on this stuff for weeks and have more time to go before I can go,.

I came back to the nexus to research if the experts had settled on a post GVG grail. Doesn't look like it. Such a pity the people turned out to be scammers.

Going to buy an vaporizer now. Does anyone else have recommendations? Don't need any accessories for this thing? Filter discs, etc?

GVG Update: So to my shock and awe: The USPS found my package, and my GVG arrived unharmed. Are there shady things about the site? Yeah, definitely. Am I weirded out after the fact that I entered my driver's license info and it scanned me? Yes. But counterpoint: The product was shipped. So here is a positive case from Nov/Dec 2025 that the product did ship as advertised.

it is quite possible i need a high quantity to reach breakthrough, and technically, being inexperienced with no one to discuss my trips with, i may be breaking through at lower doses and just dont recognize the trip as a breakthrough.
my last trip a few weeks back has taken a long time to integrate (i'll make a separate post about that)
i think the puffco works well and i recently did some temperature tests showing that it does not get nearly as hot as the paperwork says... good for us, not for them....when i have all the tests done i'll list here the actual temps it reaches at each level.
its looking like the temps are right on target for us but more to come later.

To me this only proves how terrible the temperature control on the Puffco's are.
I set my daab on 160c and that's PERFECTION with just 20 - 25 mg's.

In October last year I had some vape liquid infused with spice, I'd never had it before, wanting to try it for years, had myco a few times over the years and lots of cid many years ago. Obviously I had no idea of the ratio used or quality in the vape juice.
I found the vape juice awful, hot, nasty, taste was disgusting. I vaped it twice and got a real good zap off it but it was so disgusting I couldn't bring myself to try it again. So, decided to extract my own, a lot easier than I thought, just used a very simple straight to base tek. On research I figured I'd just use a glass oil pipe (cheap for a starter) despite the general opinion being it's an inefficient method, prone to burning the spice and it being equally hot and nasty, potentially.
Don't know if I just have a natural knack of using it but Ive found it fantastic. I use a good quality torch lighter on a low setting, melt the spice first gently in the bowl by holding it over a recently boiled kettle, don't allow the flame to touch the glass, just hover underneath until the first flicks of vapor can be seen then inhale. I've broken through off 35mg, it's amazing, not burned it once, nice and clean, don't even have to wash the pipe afterwards. So I'll be sticking with my £8 oil pipe.
