Do any of you have any experience or have ever heard about growing a fast growing shrub or tree (I'm thinking MH or AC) in hydroponics or aeroponics? :unsure:
I read a post in another blog, which claimed that this method could provide a certain amount of material, roots, quickly and in a potentially infinite way

Hydroponic systems need regular maintenance (cleaning / sterilization / leaks ) and are prone to diseases/pathogens with time.
Aeroponics is even more maintenance-intesive (just think about cleaning these clogged nozzles) and expensive in terms of equipment you need.
I have some experience (3 years growing canna in DWC/RDWC) with hydroponics and trust me, you better stick with soil for trees :)
