smokerx: who are you to judge the way of the locust?

I only described its behavior. Its well known fact if you did not know anything about locusts I suggest to read about it.

This is the thing. Because locust can not choose to behave differently it will always do the same thing all its short life. So it is impossible to judge locust We only say what it does its not judgement its simple statement.

You can only judge a human but that is the worst thing to do IMO. Instead its better look in the mirror

Sounds like again your describing choice. I spent a great deal of time typing arguments but then I decided what's the point and erased it. You won't change my mind and I won't change yours.

You are right the impulse to change has to come from inside not outside.

Bottom line is that I absolutely disagree that in order to be a good person or a better person one has to believe in God. I know plenty that believe in God and are some of the biggest scum of the human race.

I believe that those people you just mentioned do not carry GOD in their hearts. They only pretend but do not live according to it. But yes you are right there are many good people out there without believing in God.

So believing in a god doesn't make you a good person any more than it makes you a locust/bee. It just means there's no immediate consequences, the cop out is to say he's going to wait for you to die first.:?

Well if you thing about it fear from judgement, fear from God can definitely help you to be a better man. This could be understood as some kind of psychology if you wish.

I normally don't discuss beliefs because I'm not in the business of forcing my beliefs or trying to convince people that my way is the right way, which usually is the case with religion. But every now and then I have to put my two cents in.:thumb_up:

And I thank you for your honesty. I also do not try to force my believe on anyone else only putting my two cents in also.

This guy turned like 360 degrees and now can finally see. I like him even I know many don't. At least he can use his name to educate people about what the hell is going on around us.
