In my opinion, the trip cannot decide anything for you or even answer your questions. You may see what you need to see to make a decision, but it's still your decision. Any answers have come to me without asking and the answer is almost always a reminder that all the answers are within. Going in with intentions is one thing but I wouldn't get all magic 8 ball with it lol. Not that you are, just some thoughts. Perhaps asking specific questions is beneficial but I usually get any answer I need simply by observing. I find it easy to get lost in thought so I feel the more clear my mind is the more clear the experience is. Thinking about anything but the present moment can be very distracting in this reality or hyperspace. Maybe my next experience I will ask if I should be asking... Lol

Though I think you'd tend to be right, there are some instances when hyperspace can be outright explicit. There are some demonstrations and lessons that leave little in the way for interpretation.

Not sure I understand.. Are you saying some experiences benefit from asking questions? I prefer to reflect on anything during the come down (when capable of writing in journal). I can't imagine blasting off and trying to figure out what to do with my car or any other material possession. The inner peace from being in the moment can help one answer any question even without psychedelics. 'Wanting' answers or anything else is holding expectations and can make things unclear or leave you disappointed. Now this is just my opinion from my experiences. I try to just observe, here or there.

It doesn't have to be about you asking questions or setting intentions or anything like that. I've had a handful of experiences that aren't presented as symbolic puzzles to be decoded. The entities can say what they mean and mean what they say every now and then, and it's crystal clear in the same way that when you go to a class, you needn't digest everything upon leaving the class upon returning to study and reflect in solitude. Sometimes the teacher says something, and you compute it on the spot. It's not a common thing to happen in hyperspace, I've had it happen to me on a number of counts. As usual with DMT, it's less about what you want, and more about what they want to show/tell you. If they see it fit to explicitly inform you of something in particular, they will whether or not it matches your intentions or anything like that.

I agree being on the here and now is beneficial, whether in "reality" or hyperspace.

Placing desire and expectations can often lead to disappointment. Very often the answers, or guidance many seek comes just from clearing the mind, giving it space so to speak and you/it works things out.

The light of a clear mind illuminates many dark corners...

Regarding intentions and questions: I think it is possible to go in with foggy intentions/questions and not realize how foggy they are until you get a symbolic puzzle answer back. In my experience, pushing myself to understand what is on my mind and why, and then forming better questions has helped me tremendously. Ask better questions. Develop intent based on feeling, not on cognitive 'thinking'.

So far I haven't got disappointing if I don't get an answer back.
I remember once I did spice+truffels and I got disappointed because the trip was short and I didn't remember but a second of it. And my images where the "white pincushion" things I usually see. I wanted a FULL formed room. With entities.

Well, that was the ONLY time I ever looked at a trip negatively again. A member on here made me feel so selfish for complaining about what I saw. And he was right about it too.

Like when I got home today - I took another journey. My questions were again - what about my car? And can I please see another entity?
I didn't break through, but my trip was good anyway. There was lots of hands pointing in a certain direction. I couldn't figure out what they're pointing at. I get pointing hands a lot when I don't break through.

BUT - right after the trip I got up, while patterns are still flowing up my walls and floor, and walked to the bathroom to look at myself in the mirror.
Edit: by walk I meant stumbled LOL!

At first I was very weird looking. I had super smooth skin. And writing on my face.
But as the trip faded away, I saw the beauty in myself. It helped me love myself and it gave me lots of confidence. I hope it sticks.

See? Didn't get an answer about my car - but I got back something priceless.

Man... I thought I had hit the limit and I couldn't imagine it being any more intense than it has been

I remember feeling the same way after my 4th attempt!.... I began to feel sort of depressed with the idea that I had seen everything (which was very foolish of me btw lol), until my 5th attempt!, where.. like you put it!!.. I WAS SWEPT OFF MY FEET!!

I mean, it was gruesome, intense, magnificent, divine, loving, harsh!! it was every dimension compressed into a 20 minute presentation and I was freaking scared but greatful!...

and Ever since, every experience is a little different... in some I learn humility, in some I learn my purpose in the 3 dimensional world, in some I learn about laughter, in some I learn focus!, etc.... but in ALL I learn LOVE!...

A friend of mine uses a pretty sweet metaphor, that I've copied to describe trips to my friends...... DMT experiences are like the Game Mario Bros. lol, there was one level where everything was "normal" and you were on earth... then there was one when you were in a water world, then there was one where you were in a fire world, then the clouds, etc lol

It is similar with DMT (at least for me) each trip is a little different and I see different things, but I remind myself to pay attention to the lesson....

Also if your trips become repetitive (which I doubt), try changing settings!, go to a beach, an open field, outside at night, outside during the day, etc...

It wasn't so much a repeated trip as it was repeated patterns. Weed actually broke these patterns away and added colors.

I also recently had a black trip.

Ever seen a bright black color? I have. It was fcking fantastic. The darkest black ever.

I never get scared when I trip. Sometimes after the trip, I think I'm a junkie or a hard drug user and it makes me think I could be addicted. But the power of the trips just sweep me off my feet with astonishment.

I sometimes envy the trips my friends have. I see patterns on walls when coming down. To my friend, he said the walls are dripping And melting. I'd LOVE to see that.

See, when I say stuff like that ^ makes me wonder if I have problems lol.

Sure sounds a lot like the "big" breakthrough I had. After coming back to my body I just stared at the ceiling with a huge smile for 15 minutes lol.

What now? I say do it again, but not too often, and try to get more and more info out of it each time.

There is an endless void of wonder in there. Maybe try going in with some sort of intent. You'd be surprised the possibilities that open up sometimes when you enter that space with an idea.

I do this each time.... for ideas I will share some of mines : beauty (concept*), awe(*), peace(*), to feel one with everything, to completely empty the mind, to see entities (I don't see them often ).

What ever works for you. On a personal note, each time I went in with an intention the trip was more rewarding and I generally get what I want with a little effort.

I mean yeah,thanks to DMT, my ONLY fear in the world now PEOPLE (used to be ghosts but DMT takes that fear away LOL). I figured out I like my job. I'm keeping my car that I owe more on it than its worth. Closed my dating website profile... Etc

I don't think DMT can scar you, don't worry about that. Also, don't beat yourself over smoking it : nothing useful will come out of this. 3 to 4 times a week is fine IMO. How long have you been smoking DMT for?

I have been for a couple months now, probably went through 1 - 1.5 G. Only side effects ? Well, I feel more confident (not only after trips). I have more dreams and way better dream recall. I also started making art

What i'm saying is I don't see DMT being problematic. Too much would be smoking it everyday for a couple weeks..

3-4 times a week seems pretty moderate.

As long as you aren't investing more into dmt than 'reality'.. Try not to get attached or hold on to anything you experience. Let it be then let it go.

I try to only blast off on full moon or new moon and certain special occasions. With such profound experiences sometimes twice a month seems more than needed.. Depends on the person but I'd say you're fine. :thumb_up:

Edit I might have just had a bad trip. Finally. Not sure.
Like I left my light on, paused Super Troopers...
First hit I instantly felt strange.

Then I took I don't know how many more but I forgot how fast it hits you since I stopped for a few days.

Next thing I know the lights are flickering. And I look at my screen and its paused where i can see the stoners faces. But their faces were melted down over their eyes. And I think there was a UPS man in front of me at one point too.

Through out all of this I forgot what was happening and I was very confused.

I like it now. Wish I observed more. But is this a bad trip?
I don't know...

Good/bad is opinion. This is why I've been saying not to hold onto anything. It doesn't have to be good or bad, it just IS. I have seen creatures crawling from the depths of darkness was not afraid. A lot of people would consider it a 'bad' time. I saw the beauty in it therefor to me it was a beautiful experience. If you think you had a bad trip, forget about it and move on. Maybe skip your next session and meditate instead.. Or draw. ( just now looking at your work and digging it!)

Your mind is capable of the full spectrum of consciousness.. This means it can manifest good trips, bad trips, red trips, blue trips, ect.. It isn't always going to be beautiful girls and sunshine but that also doesn't mean you can't find beauty in the darkest of trips.
