Don't look for wild trees, Florida climates you can grow Mimosa hostilis, Psychotria viridis, Diplopterys cabrerana (apparently this is easier to find in the states) or Acacia sp. no worries. Growing leads to sustainable medicine rather than harming local ecosystems. That's not to say that all wild harvest is detrimental but growing is where I'd put my recommendation. Patience is well rewarded.
