Hey Everybody,
Since I learned that there was something called LSD around age 11 I have been completely fascinated by psychoactive substances, specifically psychedelics. The fact that a microscopic amount of a compound could totally change your perspective on things really caught my attention, I was in 7th grade taking notes at D.A.R.E.. I never really got into the whole exploring your mind aspect until recently, the last 2 years. What I mean by that is I just looked at these compounds as intoxicants, I didn't believe there was anything to be gain from these states but cool drawings and goofy thoughts. I was proven very wrong.
I have always been much stronger than others my age and would put on muscle at a very fast rate, most people believed I was on steroids in high school, this is not an ego trip just bear with me. Around 2013 I got a batch of azurescens and was warned about the potency but blew it off as him thinking I was a newbie. I was put in a place that I had never been before, these were my Pre-Mckenna days so there was nothing put into my head before the experience IE. the mushroom speaking. I was repeatedly told there is something wrong with you, you aren't as strong as you were, you have MS, you are pretending there is nothing wrong.
After that whole ordeal I took a little break from the fungi and when I came back to it the same thing happened. I looked at it as that my biggest fear is being stuck in a chair and I was being forced to except it.
Fast forward 2 years. I have enlisted under the army's 18 Xray contract. The attrition rate is 95% so the amount of training I was doing on the daily was insane. One week before my leave date I when for a run with my mom, who is a long distance runner and physician, she was very concerned with the my running form and thought something was wrong.
Fast forward 6 months. After seeing a handful of specialist and getting a DNA test I was diagnosed with a form of LGMD call....... Basically my body has over compensated my whole life for the absence of a functioning .... protein, this protein essentially tells your muscle membrane to repair so when it doesn't function the muscle is broken down and never replaced.
I truly believe that my ego was fully removed from the azures, and I was able to communicate with part of me I couldn't before. Since this I have been knee deep in Jung, Mckenna, Shulgin and many more and will be attending school for chemistry in the spring. In hopes to pursue a career studying these compounds.
Ps. I will explain my reason for the 18 x at a later date. Most won't be as opposed to it once I explain.
