I have been making DMT for a little over a decade, but today's first harvest really stood out.

Did you infuse it directly onto leaves that were harvested recently? And if so, did you also have the extended and potentiated experience? I picked a fresh leaf, dried it out, and infused it, but I have not yet smoked it to confirm that this plant is active like the last one that I had growing outside.
I have to repeat my experiment. I have both dry leaf and a resinous alcohol extract. I plan to try again soon and will report back (been busy as of late)!

6:10pm

40mg c. odorata taffy from ethanol extraction
  • 14.4g c. odorata dried, ground up and put in a flask with 450ml 95% ethanol
  • The alcohol immediately took on a dark, electric-green color
  • After 3 days, the alcohol was filtered and set out to evaporate, which took 5 days
  • 1,669mg of dark green, sweet, slightly spicy resin obtained
  • Yield: 11.59%
Slightly sweet tasting smoke. Slight buzz. A +1 on the Shulgin Scale.

58mg Twig Taffy
11:30pm->12:20am

Strong. Vivid. Talkative. Was this due to the CO {c. odorata} 5+ hours before? IDK?

3/20
20mg CO + 45mg taffy

Did not notably alter the experience.

42mg CO + 60mg twig/phyllode taffy
12:56am-->1:10am

Cannot report any lengthening or enhancements of effects.

12:25am
A pinch of dry powdered leaf (not the extract) added to 68mg bark taffy. Visuals were more steady and clearer than usual; not sure if it was from the 154mg rue extract (brown salt) taken 6.5 hours prior for an oral experience.

6:35am --> 7:20am
72mg bark taffy + leftover CO

Not very visual, but lasted quite a long time... lack of visuals may be due to the daylight.

Results are still preliminary and inconclusive. It seems the dry leaf was stronger than the extract.

To be continued....
