i just blew my mind (a vicarious thread)

i envisioned a macabre painting made of mostly greyish blues and greens of a character holding a pipe the same way someone would hold a gun to themselves. this character would have an eyes-wide-open gaze as though he's just seen the other side, as though he's just seen god. behind him, his metabrain would be splattered all over the walls in parallel with the theme. vibrant colors with defined and undefined shapes and lines.

but i can't paint. i haven't even held a paint brush since i was a child. i think it's time to change that.

in the mean time, i went looking to see if anyone had done anything similar. i wanted to share some of what i found.
