I just discovered a DMT 'like' compound....I think

Migrated topic.
Yeah I tried a few times out of curiosity, found it to be way too panic inducing for my liking.

Later on I read on the internet about it giving people mild heart attacks...

just do a google search for synthetic cannabis heart condition, doesn't sound pleasant.

Let me just state that this was never consistent use. I only tried it a handfull of times and although intense..it had some interesting effects...very similar to the comeup body-ish feel with dmt.

And yes Eli, I read quite a bit on the various synthetic cannabinoids and I saw some of those reports of various people having heart related conditions. Panic attacks/etc.

That's what made me stop...

Different synthetic cannabinnoids cause different effects. From hard hitting and anxious to smooth nice and trippy. Most commercial blends are a mixed blend of synthetic cannabinnoids, and some have stuff like 5 mep dalt, etc, also added to them, etc.

Certainly the best way to research these compounds is to create your own blends which are cheap as chips. There are many compounds that are still legal.

But what I noticed it that within a 30 second-1 minute timeframe the body vibration builds and builds and builds and seems crazy similar to the onset of smoked dmt! Like...your whole body is in that buzzing/humming state..while mentally..your not too affected.

...music slowwwwed pace,...visually the colors did something odd I cant really put my finger on... But the body buzz....incredibly intense...in a tryptamine/dmt-sh kinda way.

I have not tried DMT yet so I can not say how it compares to it

To the effects you've described with which I can account to experiencing as well:

I can recall one particular blend that I tried once that was called "Green Cobra", green package with a cobra in striking position. The humming was quite distinct and it felt as if my body was vibrating, definitely experienced severe time distortions, as for the colors changing... to me it looked as though my vision was posterized without looking blurry... in a way it's comparable to how my vision is effected after consuming a moderate amount of potent cannabis.

I only stick to the real deal anymore, no more synthetics for me

Strong warning to those wishing to experiment with smoking synthetics!!!

My experience was with AM2201, but anyway I didn't measure my dose, felt extremely weird and within 30 seconds my left lower lip was so huge it spent 2 days in my nostril and didn't return to normal size for 10 days.

Not fun! I'll be sticking to what I know from now on.

You have been warned!

^^^^^^^

AM2201 is one of the active in the microgram range synthetic cannabinoids, was it the chemical or a blend? I wouldn't think you'd vaporize such a potent chem, that's dangerous as hell! I know several people to have gotten sick as dogs from smoking eyeballed doses of this particular chem as well as smoking too much of blends made with it... it is however rather pot-like strangely enough, but tolerance builds so quickly it is almost pointless- if you smoke 2 bowls of it within the same day the second is very much attenuated IME.

Some of these RC's are extremely psychedelic, or perhaps dissociative is a better description. Without a tolerance many of the synthetics send me reeling inward following sometimes profound/sometimes paranoid trains of though which go in loopty-loops. Cannabis is the same way for me without a tolerance, and it feels altogether better - the synths often feel cold and clinical, like they are - you know - for mapping the receptor system and not really for getting high. As well as the fact that for whatever reason the desire to re-dose seems much higher with these, IMO, but that could also be due to the shorter duration (cannabis for me lasts 2-4 hours to mostly baseline no tolerance, whereas most RC cannabinoids last 30minutes with no tolerance for me. there are exceptions to this.) For this reason I have begun to consider them the "crack" version of cannabis (dumb metaphor but y'all get the picture).

And then there is the disconcerting side-effect that I feel like a total idiot if I smoke these multiple days in a row. My wife is on probation for cannabis and occasionally will want to smoke a blend, and when she has it I smoke it too. This usally goes with us smoking say 3grams in 3 days, which isn't alot compared to some spice-heads I have seen (There is a town in TN with such a high proportion of teenagers on probation that almost everyone is smoking spice daily and one of the most successful teenage drug dealers in that town makes 80% or more of his profits come from his spice blend), but by the end of it I feel rather stupid. Wow, that paragraph has a bigger in parenthesis section that out of parenthesis...

Anyway yeah, the general consensus is - pot is waaay better;)
