its an operating system, i've realized this from tripping acid, to me, the entities are the "background programs" that run to make sure the "life" operating system is running smoothly, i feel like psychedelics are the "ctrl-alt-delete key" to see these programs running (the red pill in the matrix) for a short while. I'm really glad someone else has noticed this, I have been convinced for 3 years now that this is just a program. Not a bad program though, i gotta say

Yes I want to try to explain a clearly as possible what I'm experiencing.

Today after 2 significant journeys I was on my way back to my truck.
I stopped for a minute to look at a nice vista of forest . I decided to have one last go at it.

The journey that ensued came on strong and for the first time i instantly recognized the routine.
I have seen it many times over, It played itself out like a computer program .
A series of fast moving very complex panels of images. The texture is shiny plastic , the themes of it is some kind of alien circus. bright reds and oranges spinning in a kind of diabolical animation sequence.
In the past I had been terrified by this, today I was unphased and just watched it happen. I Finally recognized it as the SAME EXACT routine I've seen countless times.

I can only speculate at what I think is going on. It feels like my mind triggered this thing to start playing.
I kept saying in a stern voice " you tell me what you are and we'll talk !! " I stayed cool through the entire thing. I can tell you without previous experience this would have been a real ass kicking for someone.

It really felt like there was nothing there, just some kind of Artificial facade.

It started a line of thinking for me that the DMT realm could be some kind of very complex house of mirrors
perhaps its filled with many of these little program packets that are triggered in various ways by our minds entering this realm.

What if the whole thing is some kind of artificial domain created by some higher intelligence?
And the entities people experience are just artificial intelligence program units triggered to play and run a certain programmed routine?

Or hyperspace itself is an actual dimensional landscape and these programs are floating around in there
with specific directives to connect to organic conscious life forms that enter this domain?

If this thing was created , who made it and what is it for?

I can tell you to remember to remember and pay close attention next time your in hyperspace.
don't be fooled by what your experiencing try to see it for what it is . see what happens.

I first noticed this on a high dose of LSD. I began to actually pay attention to the actual patterns and they began to tell me to kill myself. This terrified me at first but i began to notice it kept happening the same exact way in the same pattern and i began to recognize that i could bring myself out of this pattern once i understood it was a program. The hardest i have ever tripped on lsd, i remember my brain began to go into these series of uploads and i could literally feel and think these program codes without even trying at all. I remember they began to go into this sequence that was like the FINAL .EXE file that was death. I remember this terrified me, but this was the theme of the trip everytime. When i smoked dmt i realized that this pattern was completely magnified by an exponential intensity. It still takes you through the fear of death and the appreciation of life, but its magnified to annihilation and rebirth. It still to me is a pattern, and everytime i see the entities i always see them as just advanced programs that govern our reality.

Because it is a random mutation that resembles other defensive ones in other species, but rather has the effect of having us revere and consequently propagate them. Nature works in mysterious ways. I liked the analogy.

But in any case, it's just another way of calling things. The operative system is equivalent to a higher dimension number, or to the universe.

A program is a process that follows some instructions. Whether those instructions are very plain and mechanical, or intelligently encoded, or complex fractal equations that evoke a higher order, is what science tries to find out I guess. But life is a process, the consensual reality is a process. In that sense, we should not call the psychedelic experience "just a program". Programs can be pure intelligence, or use hardware resources that we don't even suspect they exist.

Building on this idea:

The thing with the random mutation, though, has a problem. According to it, we are talking here about converging evolution of many, many plant species that happen to synthesize tryptamines. And fungus. And animals. And that reproductive advantage perspective, if I get it right, involves that the plant makes progress using the effect it produces in another species. Then, what happens with all the plants with psychoactive contents that have been identified without a history of human usage, or all the plants and fungus that most likely exist and produce tryptamines yet have had no contact with humans?

It's a cool way of looking at it, but not the whole story methinks.

Far from the whole story . It is not the ONLY reason that ALL (or necessarily any, for that matter) tryptamine bearing species have survived; random mutation is not linear - many other random mutations may have contributed to it being useful to other species or innocuous, with no predators and/or imperviousness to disease and pests. The ones to which you refer may just "randomly" also contain tryptamines that serve no purpose

Or none of these naturally occurring tryptamines may serve any evolutionary purpose. It is sufficient for a mutation not to be harmful for an organisms existence, while others prove beneficial for the species for it to persist, as I understand evolution.

From the experience, it's not easy to accept that chemicals with such a profound, shattering effect can occur in a basically unrelated way. I've been most of my life firmly convinced of the absence of purpose in the evolution. No direction, no teleology... and psychedelics are the only thing that seriously challenged this.

Even if we think that tryptamines, for instance, just happen to marvelously mess with our neurological functions (provoking a malfunction), and the psychedelic experiences are some sort of an emergency real-time construct that tries to make sense out of a deeply disturbed nervous system... then, if you follow the software analogy, how come hyperspace does not feel like a sub-routine but more like the mainframe?

I don't know. Even if we want to think about it as a program, the biggest knots stay there. The subjective experience. The matter over mind over matter. If tryptamines are accidental, are a frozen accident, and this is software running, the door they happen to unlock is a HUGE security hole Maybe that's why so many entities seem to be surprised or curious. They might not know how the hell we found an exploit.

Ok. So if it's not a defense of the plant. Why do cane toads give DMT slime? To make us high? It's for the animal predidtor that eats the toad and trips out and scares the shit out of the animal and the animal will not try it again.

About mutation. I have a story for you.
Theres a friend who had a farm with horses. The horses would eat this apple tree. The apple tree would suffer every year because the horses would eat all of the fruit and all of the leaves. So the owner put a fence around the tree. The horses could still eat the tree over and through the fence. Time goes on and the horses stopped eating the tree one year. The owner wondered why. As he looked closer, the apple tree had mutated and produced thorns. The tree grew happy with no more horses eating it.

Whatever the reason for DMT I think it is a beautiful thing and I am happy we all enjoy it!
