I was banned to “take time and reflect on myself,” I did so, and here’s what I SAW . . .

There is a lot of truth to this.
Here's the main issue as I see it. A lot of people have fled orthodox religion and the associated authority structures, which led them to psychedelics. Ironically some still hold to a mainstream science view as the replacement authority structure though it is clearly inadequate and very lacking in understanding psychedelic experiences.

Now someone coming representing the curanderos, the native authority structure of DMT that we are aware of, disclosed not far from the native land of stolen territory that is North America no less, will trigger some sure fire 'shadow work' in a great many.
It is what it is.

Don't belabour the point. The higher dimensions that DMT reveals exposes how misguided the materialistic paradigm is fundamentally.
Your terrain is the world of the supernatural so traverse it and share when it is felt appropriate.
This is the BEST conversation I've experienced so far Pan! You naild it and I'm tyaking to heart what you say about North American attitudes about medicine plants (or DMT). Having just returned from years in Central America, and I'm not trying to boast here but rather trying to perhaps explain why I'm not more familiar with this kind of heat and negation . . . that honestly does not exist South of the boarder. Thank you and I would like to dialogue more with you and others who share your views.

I will tell you this, many of those who've taken offense rather than leaned into what I'm trying to share aren't in the head or heart space to sit with a Curandero in humility and embrace the absolutely profound guidance they offer anyway, so it really doesn't matter.
This sounds a lot like "if you take offence rather than believe what I say, you're not ready for a curandero".

Before you can make such an absolute statement from a viewpoint of true authority, you need to have a long and proven record of validated expertise in your field. Currently this is not the case, hence why your statement is mute by default.

Please work harder on yourself before trying this fallacy on our platform.

Tell more please, I want to learn. Thank you.
Ok, SKr9: I am going to take some time to answer you . . . give me until later today . . . but know that I honor your question and will put my heart and mind to answrering in a way that respects your interest and does justice to your inquiry.

Im not into the science side of things really either. But why should that bother me now? Adapt.

One thing we must be able to all appreciate. The fact that the whole community is engaging as politely as possible to help you stay. You even got Trav to take interest.

99.9% of the internet would have banned you and made you into a meme.

Can you argue at all about that brother Ajqij?

Hey, my answer to your question is on the Open Discussion forum page . . . check it out.

Ok, Traveler, I'll give you the benefit of my doubt. If I DID misunderstand you let's take another pass at understanding between us? #Panpsychic, (above in the thread) has just, in my experience, nailed the issue with the turbulence I seem to be bringing to some of the "senior" Nexians here. I never intended it, but I see clearly what he's pointing to and I will do all I can to try and address people's preconceived "authoritarian" notions about my attitude, style, and approach. I will tell you this, many of those who've taken offense rather than leaned into what I'm trying to share aren't in the head or heart space to sit with a Curandero in humility and embrace the absolutely profound guidance they offer anyway, so it really doesn't matter.

One definition of Humility: Humility, at its core, is the quality of being humble; it's about recognizing one's own limitations and valuing the perspectives of others. It's not about having a low self-esteem, but rather a realistic and accurate view of oneself, including one's strengths and weaknesses, without arrogance. Humility fosters openness to feedback, personal growth, and stronger relationships by promoting collaboration and empathy.

These things I have seen here among members, senior members and moderators (in particular Voidmatrix). Not so much with OP.

I can imagine if when I came in as a new member 16 years ago at age 41 and acted like I was the wise one who came to teach that I would have been treated the exact same way as the OP. Even THEN this place had a history and was well established.

But now that some folks steady and some off and on have known each other for close to 2 decades it feels like a real home.

It can be very frustrating to come in to that as a new person. But humility is the key. It's as much as HOW you share as WHAT you know.

Peace.

Sure thing . . . tight group and some really wise and cool members. Check out the offering I just posted on Open Discussion and let me know if you can see me, not what has been concluded about me, but who I really am . . . which is not wise . . . not arrogant . . . not humble . . . not better . . . not worse . . . not entitled . . . not "new' . . . not anything, other than a being like you who is inspired to be alive, sometimes great sometimes petty, but always in deep gratitude for every breath. Cheers.

Nope not an argument out of me Fink. Not even a peep of one. :)

Sorry but it's not your job or your right to tyell me what to work harder on. I respect your position here and will follow the rules but I won't be talked down to.

It kind of is his job. Remember you are in The Traveler's house, not your own. We, all of us (all but The Traveler) are guests here.

Outside of the Nexus for sure, no one's business but your own, but this place like any other used and created by humanity has a hierarchy and the top of the pyramid/the boss is The Traveler.

When you are in someone else's house, it's just polite to follow their rules, and very reasonable to be kicked out if you choose not to.

Acknowledging the rules is a start, but respect isn't just about compliance, it's about tone, intent, and mutual regard.

If you're going to speak with authority, especially in spiritual or healing contexts, you must demonstrate the humility and composure that such authority demands. What you've shown so far undermines your message completely. Hence the request to work harder on yourself.

Going forward, if your contributions don't meet our baseline of civility, they won't be welcome on our platform. We are here to learn, share and expand through a respectful and meaningful exchange, not some verbal dominance games.

I'm following the rules and adapting to this "culture." And I'm trying really hard to be "polite "with a less than polite but smooth group of senior members.

So let me ask you something about being in some one elses house . . .

Let's say the owner comes up to you and tells you what you need to work harder on in life, rather than gently pointing out that I should avoid stepping on somebody's ego toes in the crowd in the buffet line. (A useful and non-personal nudge.) Im a Traveler as well and the higher path is to nudge people not make demands of them. I wish to stay and would appreciate guidance for where I may or may not be displaying the "attitude" desire dhere without being told what I need to work on in my life.

I'm sorry but I did not choose you as my guru. Please offer whatever site guidance you wish but stay out of my spiritual reality my friend, it's rude to do that without an invitation. And ai offer this in the spirit of understanding and resolution so we can move forward with less friction. I'm working on it here. I do want tothank you for not just banning me outright as you could.

I would either thank them and start focusing on working harder on those things in my life or I would leave..

Some places just are not a good fit for some folks.

What inside you gives you the feeling this is guru talk?

This is our fundamental attitude that reflects our core principles, it allows for a meaningful participation on this platform, it's something you agreed to when joining. Upholding them is not optional.

I definitely predict a potential recurrence, lol. Seems to me it's a personality clash with the tone of the forum in general. Not even a conflict relating to the content, but one in the delivery and interaction style.

But who knows, maybe we'll all be surprised.
Not a harsh word has been spoken . . . just responding to folks with how I see things. I just posted why I'm here and I truly hope some will give what I have to say a chance. I don't want to make enemies, I am a fighter, but I also am dedicated to contributing. Maybe this isn't the place for sharing about the ancient ways of plant medicine and the magical ways its shared by those who have not been assilimatlated into the modern me me me mentality.

If I get banned, so be it. Not the end of the world as I already have a huge number of folks who take to heart not just my understanding of Curanderos but of their own devotion to it being a sacred experience in their lives.

Sure, I'm not even saying it's your fault necessarily. It's just how things seem to keep naturally inclining whenever a new convo is struck up.

But I apologize, don't let my somewhat thoughtless comment detour you. I do appreciate the particular kind of info you bring to the table.
