Iboga disappearing from the wild in Gabon

Migrated topic.
Ah yes I know, but when I click the link in your post I get a page that I don’t have permission to view so I wasn’t sure if it was still available. Same goes for the link in the attitude page. Or I’m still, to new, and it is available for more advanced members.
Ah, maybe it was not made public after the migration. Let me check that one again.

EDIT: I seems it was indeed not visible to registered accounts, that has been fixed now.

Kind regards,

This is so wild to see almost a decade later. Around when this post was made I was approached online by a gabonese man about purchasing wild harvested Iboga from him. He tried so hard to convince me it was a good deal, that I would get the best parts in great condition, that customs wouldn't confiscate and that it was totally above board.

I was probably 15 at the time and I couldn't be bothered to even consider international trafficking. Seemed like an absolute nightmare situation. And what was really to gain there? The plants were clearly being poached AND there was no sustainability in the whole ordeal. Even if I did get the first batch there was no saying I'd be able to get another. I equated this to that poor prince we've all heard about "i just need 10 thousand units to claim my inheritance and then I'll send you 100,000"

Just wanted to chime in because it blows my mind that Iboga was actively reaching endangerment when I was approached by a stranger totally unprovoked about buying some on Facebook of all places
