Swim has been doing some reading and thinks he may have an ideal way to store DMT for many years. Swim plans to convert freebase to fumarate than dissolve it in distilled water in a jar filled to the top and then frozen in the freezer.

In swims understanding this should last many many years. What do you all think? Any problems with it being frozen in ice? Stored in water? Is it better off just crystals in an airtight jar?

DMT is very stable in salt form. Once converted, you can just vial it up and throw it in your closet with no worries. It should last for years without degrading.

it is also my understanding that you can just leave it in the saturated solvent you pull it with and as long as the jar is sealed it will not evap away. whenever you're ready to get it, just pull some out and evap it.

fumarates are supposed to be extremely shelf stable though.....probably better than having a jar of solvent sitting around that could potentially break, etc.... travels better that way too....

good luck!

L&G!!

There was a thread exactly like this last week so here we go again. Salt form, freezer, dessicant, oxygen absorber. Thats all there is to it.

Yes I know I posted in said thread. I just had this other idea specifically.

Yeah I'd say what mumbles said....in an airtight container.

Don't think freezing it in ice is necessary. It would probably be fine though.

Might be sort of inconspicuous for long term storage.
