I wasn't sure exactly where to post this. I've visited this site a lot in the past, and finally ended up joining. Swim found what I assume is some species of Acacia/ the split genera, and swim was wondering if anyone could help with the ID/is it active? The leaflets are 7mm by 5mm, each group of leaflets is 4cm, each compound leaf is 13 cm, and the seed pods are all around 33cm. the thorns are long, some up to 9 cm, and some are compound (multiple thorns coming off the base). Thanks to all in advance.

Damn this shows how ignorant I am of trees, I'm guessing now this is the Honey Locust. Well swim already harvested some rootbark, trunkbark and seedpods (from many trees, none injured extensively). I guess there was DMT found in the roots, so swim'll give an extraction a go.
