My local ACE has Industrial Maintenance Coating Thinner now that says, "use in place of KEK, Toluene, Xylene and VM&P Naptha"

Here is the msds:

Hazardous Components (Chemical Name)
1. Light aliphatic solvent naphtha (petroleum)15-40%
2. Acetic acid, ethyl ester {Ethyl acetate}15-40%
3. Petroleum Hydrocarbons10-30%
4. 1,2,4-Trimethylbenzene {Pseudocumene}7-13%
5. Xylene (mixed isomers) {Benzene, dimethyl-}1-5%

CAS #
64742-89-8 141-78-6 64742-95-6 95-63-6 1330-20-7
Concentration
15.0 -40.0 % 15.0 -40.0 % 10.0 -30.0 % 7.0 -13.0 % 1.0 -5.0 %

Can it be used for pulls?

And if a jimjam in Limonene were salted out, then turned to freebase with sodium bicarb could you then use this solvent to pull and freeze X?

The ethyl acetate and xylene will not work as well for freeze precipitation as naptha would. The solubility of freebase in naptha falls off very sharply as the temp drops, ethyl acetate will not behave the same.

Ronsonal lighter fluid is naptha/petroleum ether and very easy to get a hold of in any smokeshop.
