Initiating warp to hyperspace

Hello,

SWIM has been lurking the forums for a couple months, just reading, learning, and gaining respect for the spice. The personal anecdotes that people provide of their journeys into hyperspace fascinate SWIM to no end. SWIM finally believes that SWIM is ready to experience this journey for myself.

SWIM has already ordered bark and a scale for shirt dying, but still does not fully understand how one extracts the spice. However, this culture of the spice is very fascinating and SWIM would love to be apart of it. SWIM has read nomans tek several times but still does not fully understand the process behind it.

SWIM is a college student in Southern California. Perhaps some other voyagers could hold SWIMS hand through the extraction. : )

Welcome to the nexus! take a look around at some extraction teks and look at some other people's problems and solutions, try to piece together how you are going to do it!

and than when you still have some confusing spots, im sure this community will help you clarify everything

When I first started I did lots of small extractions..no more than 50g at a time..that way if I screwed up I didnt waste all my bark, I got lots of practice and could refine what parts did not work etc..

SWIM has been educating himself intensively. SWIM believes he am ready to do his first extraction! SWIM just needs to buy naptha, lye, and mason jars. SWIM is confused over how to smoke dmt though. He has heard alot about the leaf bed method, what type of leaves should be used? SWIM is also interested in making a machine, is smoking heated steel wool a problem?

Smoking DMT is a little tricky, but you just have to find the method that works for you. Some prefer using a bat (meth/crack pipe) to get the vapors (which is the key, you don't want to burn it, you want to vaporize it), some put a little bit on top of a bowl of bud or some special leaf blend (like you mentioned) and light it like a kief bowl, or some make changa and smoke that (which works wonderfully, I recommend it). There are threads on the administration of DMT as well as the ways to get it right, so look around and you should find your answers.
