Interesting documentary about the current state of cosmology in the eyes of science.
Lots of talk about dark matter... made me wonder, if there are any links between hyperspace, conciousness and dark matter.

Check it soon as I think it will not last long on the BBC iPlayer.

"Currently BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only"

Here's a link to a torrent if anyone is interested. Thanks for the tip!

Sorry, that is among the worst documentaries I have ever seen. The first 30 minutes were complete and utterly boring, it could be summed up in two or three sentences. The last half was a bit better, but still so damn slow. No real information at all, just a few interesting points repeated over and over and over again. Really disappointing, as the BBC documentaries normally are the best available.

Yeh I thought it was pretty funny, how some of them are freaking out about things that don't fit their model. Bodging the theories to make them fit the data.

Fair points Evening Glory. What was interesting to me was that the theories that a lot of people accept as truth, are in fact quite flawed.
To me, the big bang and modern scientific cosmology is just another creation myth. Creation myths from other cultures tend to be symbolic stories, rather than theories... In my eyes they are just as valid. It would be interesting to compare ancient cosmology from different cultures around the world with modern science's take.

Dark matter == conciousness?
