On the other hand, I wouldn’t call a person who lacks wisdom intelligent. To me, being intelligent means being both smart and wise.

Wisdom comes with experience. You can have a 5 year old that is intelligent, vis a vis someone that lacks wisdom IS intelligent. Therefore you can also have intelligent people that are not wise. Also you can have thick people that are wise. Generally older people are wiser than younger people. You usually get wise old men and women but no wise toddlers. Wisdom has no relation to intelligence for me.@edit Transform sort of said the same thing as this but more intelligently.. He is both wise and intelligent.

This is dangerous territory. I feel that a lot of the current polarisation in the societies that i am familiar with, is down to opposing sides thinking this way about each other. "they're easily lead and i am not" or somesuch . We are all controlled to an extent and that thinking that one is above this leads to bad shit and is not wise.

True, but i'm still not going to be asking a toddler for relationship advice........Or perhaps, it may not be such a bad idea. A toddler would not be tainted by inter love politics and may give straight to the point advice.

I still stand by my wisdom/experience equation as the wisdom would come from the individual asking the advice from untainted source....However if i was maybe to be devils advocate against my own theory i would break the wisdom age ratio down like this according to personal self knowledge.....

Ages 50-90 years old = Top of the tree wisdom. Youve lived,loved, lost etc etc, although you can be let down by saying things like "things were better in the old days". (things actually were better in the old days IMO),

Ages 40-50 years old = True wisdom is slowly coming into bloom and the realisation that the only knowledge you really have is that you don't have a clue and that you are more or less as much of an ignorant twat as everyone else on the planet. Very enjoyable.

Ages 30-40 years old= The salad years. You are both wise and ignorant in equal measures.

Ages 20-30 years old= The idiot years. You think that because you are no longer a teenager, you know it all and continually spout unsage advice to anyone that will listen. Probably the low point in the passage to pure wisdom.

Ages 10-20 years old= The experimental years where the roots of wisdom are laid. These years and the 20 something years are when important mistakes are made in order for us to learn from,,,, eg don't get drunk and take 4 white lightning blotters 15 minutes after each other because you dont think they are working. Patience young padawan.

Ages 0-10 years old=The purity of ignorance. Beautiful innocence. God bless the children.

Perhaps wisdom is based on how well you've processed your entire environment.

In a kids playroom, almost every toddler is more wise than an adult. In a court room, a judge is more wise than a criminal....in the back street alley at night, the opposite.

Old people are wise about time. This is a deep wisdom.

Nothing on earth is really very wise about the enormous universe, but many are wise about living on this rock ball.

Just to be clear, I only post here for a specific group of people. I would tell a different story for the average person. We need to be wise and adjust to our audience.

Furthermore, I deleted all my social media and I feel that being part of a dialogue there just melts your brain. If you read my posts long enough, you will understand that I do not mean what I say most of the time. I am a different person in the morning before my coffee, in the evening when I am tired, or after a difficult medicine work. Think of me as a weather pattern. You can predict it, but most likely you will be wrong. Oh, I am still in my salad days
