Is jungle spice ok to make DMT fumarate?

I was planning getting some MHRB as the whole bark. I was going to grind it up in a coffee grinder then place in a mason jar and add halfway full with water and bark then add straight sodium hydroxide slowly. I’m getting a glass stir rod so I can mix it nicely I’m not sure if metal reacts with it but it’s also good to start crystals by scraping the bottom. I was going to dry it and scrape it up then dissolve a gram in acetone and the same thing with 309MG then mix and dry. But I will have a MG scale and was wondering if it’s safe to use in a needle like IV or IM? I have tried RC chemicals like that and it hits really hard that way. It’s probably not pure enough. Also does the acid not add weight? The IV dose is less than smoking I thought.

Please do not perform the extraction you described as you described it and then try to inject the results.

Please read some on this site about A/B extraction.

If you have a bong or a pipe you have suitable paraphernalia. I used to shoot EVERYTHING, and after working with DMT for a year and several severe breakthru I lost all desire to even think about mainlining this stuff. Pipe is more than sufficient.

If you are absolutely set on this... Read about recrystallization, purification, FASA, etc. Good luck have fun don't be dangerous.

Hi and welcome.

Get a stainless steel spoon for mixing. Sodium hydroxide slowly attacks glass, so if you carried on using the glass stirring rod there's a risk it would one day break from being weakened by the sodium hydroxide. Stainless steel is fine with sodium hydroxide.

Also, DMT is best vaporised and not "smoked".

The extraction method as you describe it could do with some improvements. Are you really planning on evaporating down the caustic sludge mixture? That will take quite a while and I wouldn't advise using heat to speed it up. There are existing methods that develop your line of thinking on the basis of more advanced technical awareness so it would be best if you spent a bit more time browsing the forum and increasing your chemistry knowledge before proceeding with any kind of extraction.

Finally, in a way this echoes what Tony says: have a good think about your motivations for taking DMT. If it's to add another thing to your list of thrills be prepared to have your ass handed to you on a plate.
