Is my mescaline safe to munch?

I have a question regarding the mescaline acetate I extracted a while ago using the sunflower oil tek. Would it be even slightly possible to have any NaOH in the mescaline acetate? I know NaOH isn't soluble in sunflower oil, but i may have sucked up a very tiny amount of the emulsion that occurred on the second oil pull. I ran each vinegar wash through cotton and cleaned the mesc with MEK, but have read contradicting statements about lye being soluble in MEK and acetone.

I want to make sure it's ok to munch before my friends and I do so tomorrow night. I have dabbed very small amounts of the cleaned mesc on my tongue and it is bitter and very slightly numbing/tingly, but doesn't burn.

Just read on mycotopia that if lye is in the end product it will be a gooey substance instead of waxy. I'm thinking it should be cool but would like to have a second opinion. I hope i'm not being over paranoid.

Kermit, the acetic acid from the salting would neutralize any lye, forming inactive sodium acetate, you have nothing to worry

any sodium hydroxide in the sample should flame bright yellow

if you have naoh in your final product it will destabilize the acetate structure through freebasing and result in a goo as is freebase mescaline,

if its a goo you can bassify further for certainty and repull with nps and resalt more carefully
