Is older root bark still potent?

I have some I root bark from early 2020. It's been sitting in its original plastic bag (yeah, I know, I prolly should have transferred it) in a dark and fairly cool closet since then.

Is it still viable?

Many thanks.

My Mimosa Hostilis Root Bark (MHRB), which is over 10 years old, now still yields approximately 2% using Cyb's hybrid tek. Interestingly, it might seem to contain more of the oligomerization 'oily' DMT now than it did initially.

HUGE caveat with this: about 10 years ago, I used a simple Noman tek STB (Straight-To-Base) method for extraction and only achieved a yield of around 1% back then.

And another piece of important information: I stored my MHRB in ziplock bags and kept it in the attic, where temperatures have varied over the years from approximately 15°C to 35°C (59°F to 95°F).

TL;DR: There is no clear evidence that MHRB loses its potency over time? 🤷‍♂️
