Is this a true statement?

Migrated topic.
I watched a video where one of the "shamans" from blue morphos talked about his 40 day ayahuasca experience. Where supposedly him and some other shamans took ayahuasca for 40 days straight. He said there was a point where he knew he couldnt go any longer but he had to because they had all agreed they wouldnt stop.

I have also heard some negative talk about blue morpho retreat so I dunno.

I could certainly see it as possible, albeit undesirable, imo. Given the reverse tolerance of harmala alkaloids taken over extended durations, it's even plausible that you could use less and less and wind up in the same spaces. The issues would be psychological and dietary, imo. Such a long-term inhibition of MAO, even with a RIMA would probably necessitate maintaining a more traditional ayahuasca diet and who knows how you would feel emotionally/mentally in the wake of such a doozy. I imagine integration would be rather arduous.
