Hi all users,

It's getting very hard to determine the differences between the acacia species. After checking all the nearby acacia trees, I found this very similar to acacia farnesiana, can any experienced person confirm please? Found its local name and people call the same. Help would be greatly appreciated.

It is.
Trunk, thorns, seedpods and seeds look farnesiana.

Why not try germinating a few of those seeds you collected from the pod? I started growing Acacia farnesiana this month and here's what a couple of them look like in their younger stages. :)
