Is this jungle i´m pulling?

Since my hot heptane pulls aren´t getting me to much anymore i tried something different,

I started by putting my 1l bottles of mimosa/lye mix in my kitchen zinc halfway filled with almost boiling water, after that i took a water cooker and poured more boiling water on the bottles, of course ive already had some heptane in the mix.


Afterwards i quickly wipe them off and turn them upside down and shake as hard as i can for a min or two...

i repeat this process 2-3 times per pull untill the heptane turns redish...

The result is red crystals mixed with goo that is very potent and more dark in it´s character, ive only tried it once so far but it felt very hard and judging compared to the white loving crystals ive pulled before,

2 of my friends who also tried them got some scary trips from them.

I was unaware that heptane was able to pull jungle, however i recently read a post by q21 claiming jungle's solubility in warm naphtha. I believe he discovered it by salting it from spent freeze precipitated naphtha. I would assume then that its possible that maybe heptane can pull it as well. How did you collect your finished product?

i put it in and out of the freezer untill i have evaped all the naphta then i pour acetone in the container and scrape around with a plastic scrapper to get everything dissolved, after that i just evap the acetone on a plate, looks like red oil when dried.

what kind of plastic, and what color is that plastic?

ohoh is that bad? since acetone comes in a plastic bottle i assumed it was alright, i don´t know what kind actually, some semi soft rubbery kind.

How about tupperware? i use something similar for my freeze prezips and assumed it was ok for the reason above.

Guess i will use a razor instead.

there are different kinds of plastic. Some might be fine, others might dissolve in acetone, you need to know exactly what kind. Look on the bottom of your acetone container, it will probably have a triangle with a number in it. That indicates which plastic it is. "Semi soft rubbery plastic" doesnt sound like a very good description, I would guess your acetone dissolved some of that which is in your final product. I would advice against smoking that.

What kind of plastic is tupperware?

Please next time make sure all the products you are using are compatible with the solvents you are using. Google "chemical compatibility chart" or something similar for more info.

Ok thanks alot endlessness, i have only used it for one batch so far and it dint taste weird so i´m keeping it... although i´m using metal from now on.

It seems like my tupperware copy is the same plastic as the acetone bottle so i´m good with that at least.
