OK, terms are terms, for sure.۩ said:Jungle spice is an old outdated and obsolete term. Just call it DMT/spice/whatever the hell you want! Enjoy the medicine!!
I like my DMT pure, so I did a re-extraction: I dissolved it in a small amount of vinegar, diluted with water, based with NaOH and re-extracted with naphtha.gibran2 said:I’ve had extractions turn out like that a couple of times – it seems to be caused by ultra-fine particles of MHRB getting suspended in the naphtha. I find such impure spice to be very harsh when vaporizing. I don’t like it at all.
In my experience, a re-x isn't effective when there's so much particulate contamination. I suppose it all depends on what the contamination actually is, and there's no harm done trying a re-x first.justine said:gibran2 said:I’ve had extractions turn out like that a couple of times – it seems to be caused by ultra-fine particles of MHRB getting suspended in the naphtha. Don't you think a re-x (or two) should be enough ? A mini a/b seems a bit overkill to me in such a case.
