Is this normal

Today when i tryed smoke spice from my extraktion it burned like hot chili in my throat and mounth.
Even when i put some on my tongue it burns,is that normal???

A strong plasticy taste and quite some harshness is pretty normal, but with it burning as much as you say I'd be inclined to say you'd have lye contamination in your dmt. Recrystallize it by dissolving in just enough hot naphtha to dissolve it then freezing the solution overnight and collecting and carefully drying the crystals.

If you read the threads on sublingual dosing, a pretty severe burn gets mentioned nearly always.

But this was to much burning,my troath is still irritated so have to clean it.
But i will use the machine next time so the smoke cools down a little bit,not the bulb vaporizing due to the hot smoke

Now i have done a recrystallization and i lost quit much.
It doesnt burn the same when i put on my tongue anymore so it must have been something there.

Is it enough to do that 1 time to make sure every lye contamination is gone?
Dont understand where the "lye contamination" goes if you just dissolve it?
Dont i have to "wash" the crystals to get rid of it?

never wash crystals, thats very inneficient and not to mention you can lose your yield.. if you wash, then wash with sodium carbonate, and you wash the solvent when dmt is dissolved in it, not when its in crystal form

I think your problem is very likely to be your smoking method.. Ive read countless of times people having trouble with the bulb.. Even the machine is quite harsh IMO (though some people do like it).. Either get yourself a vaporgenie or smoke in a bong, with the dmt sandwiched between some herbs or ashes

Yes, normal for it to burn on your tounge. Yeah, it does taste like shit sometimes when smoked. Sometimes I get a bad smaell in my sinuses for a while after smoking it..my gf complains of the same thing.

Its really hard to get lye into your final products unless youre sloppy with the seperation. In other words, if theres no black spots in your naptha, youre probably fine. The melting point of lye is so high anyhow it probably dosent even vaporize. Even if it did, the amt would be so minute as to have no ill effect.

So i did a Sodium carbonate like this
I resolved the spice in hot hepthan and then
I shaked very hard with Sodium carbonate 2 times and waited 1 minute before i removed Sodium carbonate/water
After i weashed with clean tap water 2 times-waited max 1 minute before i removed the water

Now after this the spice is very like powder,almost like dust but more white then yellow.Is it possible that some sodium carbonate got stucked in the spice when doing this?
I cleanded 800 mg and the result was 200 mg so something got wrong on the way.

SWIM generally had similar experiences when she performed her SC washes w/ water. Since, she adds the SC directly to the solvent, swirls until it hits the bottom and purges with the separatory funnel.
