Is this okay to use?

Hey all,

I wont give up on LSH till I master it.
Anyway, I wanna do a butane blast and wondering if the kind I have is okay to use. Neon brand lighter butane.
"Ultra refined for maximum care and performance." "Highest quality butane for lighters."
Sounds good but this was only dollar store butane. What do you guys think?

Never heard of Neon brand. Might want to try Vector or Colibri, but if that's all that's available, try a mirror test. Spray some butane on a mirror or glass and let it evaporate. It shouldn't leave any residue.

I'd like to ask why do you use the butane for in the pursuit for LSH.

For sure it'll be ineffective for getting LSA/LSH, but it will do wonders defatting the seeds.

Can anyone describe the process of defatting with butane? What I've read wasn't clear or detailed enough.
