Is Varsol a great solvent to use? (Canada)

Saw this on another topic of UK solvent. Someone wrote that Varsol here in Canada is the equivalent for VM&P. I wanna know if this is true!

Tried extracting spice once but had crappy solvent. Everything else was ok..i think. Next time I'll use Noman's tek so no A/B thing this time!
