Hello

Back again in the nexus after, what! 5 years?

At the time I registered I was doing extractions,
but the mimosa was a dud so nothing much came out
of it.

But now I'm looking at fourth of a gram of spice.
Really excited, think I'll start slow, 10 mg
tonight if I can work the nerve for it...

anyway
glad to be back
please wish me well......

Hi there, nice to greet you.

Sometimes extractions take some time and mastery. 5-10 mg is a good, approachable dose. Good luck and safe travels! Breathe with it and observe the experience to the best of your ability.

Report back and go from there.

Thank you Cognitive Heart!

I took around 8mg in ordinary pipe between
two layers of mullein. Even with that small dose
I was nervous because I got almost freaked out
the last time, 5 years ago.

But after puffing it I instantly felt how
benign and peaceful it could be.. I got really
relaxed and felt grateful.

So I lost that excited/nervous feeling and
i'm calmly waiting for suitable occasion to
notch it up to 15-20mg
:)

Your welcome, appelseen!

This is good work! Keep returning to your practice because its always best for what works specifically for you. This is how I would approach it, though probably on a more monthly basis. 5 years is too long IMO.

You are gradually being comfortable with it, also very good. Other than feeling relaxed, grateful and calm, what else did you see? Was it of a welcoming nature?

Always fun to read others development. :)

Yes it was very welcoming, comfortable,
I would say even medicinal..

Very ephemeral psychedelic imagery at the outset
but more prominent was the spatial feeling alteration
that lasted for a while. Like something
had been expanded with me in the center.

I was just sitting and thinking "huh there's nothing to
worry about.. this is what I needed right now"

A month? Man I don't want to wait that long..
even though there has been a long intermission
with the spice, I've had some practicing
with other tryptamines.. "research chemicals" that
IMO are good training wheels for encounters with
the natural majestic ones.....

I don't know if anyone else will echo this but i've found low doses (10-15mg) in nature to be extremely easy to slide into. None of the scary fast come up at the speed of light but just a gentle slide into the environment. If you can find some nature, an early sunny morning and a reasonably low dose you will have a mystical experience on your hands that you can bring back to this world. No basketballs though.

The same dose in the improper set and setting is just uncomfortable.

I still haven't figured it out after many years. Only proper set and setting..but,

Sometimes I start with a small toke and work up to more and it works fine and becomes a great experience, but sometimes it fizzles and doesn't.

Sometimes I go for a whole load of 40mg one hit. Sometimes that works well, sometimes its too much and freaks me out.

Spice is so unpredictable I think. I just take what I feel like in the moment and try to accept what it gives me.

Often, a good second hit on the comedown becomes amazing.

Mystical and medicinal it is.

RC's are very experimental, careful.

Surely some great experiences, though.

Yes, you seem more confident with your words. Dive on in with balance.

Certainly can be. SWIM can relate with various entheogens. I think low and strong doses both have their equal effects in being completely connected and 'immersed' in to the experience.
