Swim doesn't know what they could be getting. Swim has always used heated naptha to "clean" or "seperate" various alkaloids extracted from many species , including M. Hostilis. Swim has isolated 4 - very distint, very different,active compounds from M. Hostilis (not counting N- Oxide), and only one of them is soluble in heated naptha, and thats our old pal DMT. Swim has "Extensively" studied the MHRB alkaloid profile, and I'm pretty familar with it. However by no means do "I know it all." On the contrary , the more you know the more you realize the less you know.
However.......even tho I know I dont know very much , I honestly don't have the slightest clue what kind of "jungle" they are pulling with this heated naptha. But damn it swim has used heated naptha thousands of times and has never pulled any kind of jungle alkaloid from MHRB with it.
It's my belief, barring any fluke in the formulation of the makeup of the naptha that , yes, it most certainly is a myth that jungle is pulled with heated naptha. Various Naptha formulations could be formulated in such a way to alter the way they pick up solubles. Barring that... it's a myth.
Naptha is a very generic term anyways used to describe a wide range of chemical solvents. It would be nice to know and compare the actual solvents / brands etc used when this type of material is pulled.
Now swim hasn't worked much with d-limonene but he imagines it should pick up a decent "most" spectrum profile , atleast. Swims experience with these various compounds to lead him to believe a full spectrum d-limo pull would be a nice , strong , scratch that - very incredible smoke.
Heated naptha coul however be used to seperate those compounds from the d-limo pull. Digesting it with hot naptha a few times will free it of dmt - collecting and freeze/evap the naptha to yeild DMT... the remainder is whatever else the d-limo picked up. Peace!
