Jungle Tek A/B?

So I just want to confirm that this would work..

1. Firstly, 50g of MHRB in dilute acetic acid solution. Soak for 10 hours or so, vac filter off the liquids.
2. Repeat step 1 twice
3. Combine all 3 washes, boil off excess water @ 220 degrees F on magnetic stirrer/hot plate
4. Basify with 50g of NaOH
5. Add xylene, siphon off top layer of alkaloid/xylene solution
6. Evap xylene
7. Do a naptha wash to get the n,n-DMT

On the right track here?

Why not stick with Wiki TEKs ? "Jungle" is just a matter of solvent choice.

As for your TEK I'm not sure if 10 hour soak would be enough (four boils would be more effective). 50g of NaOH is an overkill if you'll do an A/B with a boil but stick with it if you plan just soaking.

Xylene is not an exclusive solvent for "jungle" (we not even sure what "jungle" is honestly) so you will get mostly n,n-DMT and well x. Here are two threads about the analysis of the MHRB extract.

Ah. The sludge could easily be brought to a boil with the hotplate/stirrer. I just was under the impression that excess heat just pulled out nasty oils.

The de-fat in the A/B procedure is to eliminate these oils... Why skip it?
