In addition to both of these points you also claim that you add acetic acid (vinegar) to raise your pH to the appropriate level. I will reiterate that I have no formal chemistry training. Since, oh I don't know, probably fourth or fifth grade as a result of doing water sampling in the woods I could have told you that acid lowers pH.

Also, basified rootbark SHOULD NOT be gray "because it's basified". It should be jet black, but that's more of an aside. Where are your gloves? Where are your goggles? Where is the safety you talked about promoting??? I actually just watched you STICK YOUR BARE FINGER INTO A JUG OF BASIFIED MHRB!!!! How is this promoting safety?????

Also, the spelling throughout your video is atrocious. If you were truly concerned with presenting the psychedelic community in a positive light you would proofread your writing at least once, this could be the only glance an outsider gets at the type of person who associates with dmt and your spelling alone makes you seem like a burned out, doped up individual who can't take properly articulate himself.

By posting videos on youtube you are flaunting your drug production and drug use.

The DEA right now doesn't give a fuck about you. But the more you flaunt what you are doing to more and more people the more they will start to give a fuck about you.

Its that simple.

You can call websites like this hippocritical because in a way we are doing something similar (ie discussing extractions). But at least we take efforts to maximize safety and minimize harm educate people about dmt and its effects. 10 minute youtube videos simply can't do that.

I think the important thing here is that these videos are downright dangerous. They show over and over the WRONG way to do things. Never add water to a strong acid or base. You always add the base/acid into water SLOWLY. I've seen someone add water to a couple of cups of lye. I told him not to, but what do I know, he had to replace a very expensive carpet because it flash boiled (as adding water to a ton of lye will do) and he had about a gallon of 13pH lye solution all over his floor. He was lucky enough to back up in time, though his pants disintegrated after being washed.

Flag all of his videos. They are dangerous, stupid, and are going to either hurt, kill, or burn someones house down.

Out of all the continuing negativy from this thread i will take the positive critisisim you have all provided in terms of the lye reaction, Good point in terms of goggles/glasses. Since it does not show me actually mixing
this reaction i am going to edit the text to make it very clear to :

A: Mix the LYE with the water, not the WATER with the lye ( simple typo i didnt catch but a very crutial one )
B: To be sure to use goggles/protective gear I.E gloves whenever nessisary

Unfortunatly the underlying tone of this thread still remains negative so i do not think i will remain posting on thease forums as it is quite clear Knowledgestick is not welcome here. We appreciate critisisim but it is very obvious that is not the only thing we are reciving from thease posts. It is very hard to have the divide in the psychedelic culture when this board does have the attitude of an elitest group. It is unfortunate we could not come to a positive outcome and that hostile attitudes still remain towards us. Bridging the gap between the divide in the psychedelic world was somthing very intruiging to me.

Remember, Nobody is perfect and i am sure alot of you all did some stupid things on your first extractions but they wernt on video, Just because mine are doesnt give you the right to act like you are all so much better. There is a big differance between constructive critisisim and just strait up being rude & acting like you are better.

I stated many times i did horrible in science in school yet people bring it up and find it nessisary to insult my level of intelligence in that area, When i have stated myself it is low. Congratulations on that one boys, I am only trying to learn & teach people to the best of my ability, Explaining the reaction the best i understand it from what i have read.

In the end like i said, We will take the positives from this thread overall & learn how to improve our safety from it. some of the critisisim recived was healthy as it touched on good points that can improve our tutorials. Safety gear.
Outside of that we are somewhat dissapointed a more welcoming attitude could have been taken towards working with us.

We have good intetions in heart, Yet we are still attacked in a very agressive fashion by you people. I understand alot of your points but understand none of your attitudes.

Did you actually read the criticisms in this thread? Your obnoxious lack of respect for the well-being of the people you're trying to "teach" (and the fact that you have the audacity to call this recklessness "harm reduction" ) is only half of the criticism.

Despite it having been mentioned by several people, you still haven't addressed the other important criticism: you're videos have a great potential to harm the entire entheogen community and to precipitate a crack-down on our plant sources. This is the source of much of the negativity... you're putting our lifestyle and our ability to have access to these materials at risk.

If you want to smoke DMT and trip ballzz in your parents basement, that's your business. But when you videotape it and put it up on YouTube, that's when it affects us personally and people get upset.

I have no idea what division in the community you're talking about... we aren't an "elitist" group trying to horde information. We're all about safety, protecting everyone's (not just our own) ability to access these substances, and spreading fair and accurate information about them. But we recognize that to preserve access, care must be taken in how we go about spreading information.

Don't you recognize how you're jeopardizing the entire community that you profess to be a part of? Quit looking out for number one and start looking out for everyone.



And a small aside: as I said before, if you recognize that your chemistry skills are woefully insufficient, why the hell are you trying to teach people how to extract? Leave it to people who know what they're doing if you can't do it without spreading dangerous and inaccurate information.

But I welcome you with a caveat. The caveat is that I ask you to read through the entire thread one more time -- with a critical ear. I've been here a year and still feel novice. How do you expect others to react to a violent and aggressive first post?

This subject is important. The health and safety of others is important. Teaching others SAFELY and POSITIVELY is imperative -- or we will lose the gift.

Lets work towards a common end and resolve our means as to not let egos get in the way of spreading the knowledge.
