lack of MHRB

now that MHRB is becoming harder and harder to find, ive been researching different plants to use, and im leaning towards acacia confusa, just not sure what part of the plant would be best.

also interested in phalaris (reed canary grass), wondering do you use it fresh?? and what part of the plant? has anyone tried an extract from the seeds?

would it be better to use a dry tek or an acid/base tek, or STB??

where bouts do you live if you dont mind me aksing? it may be there is an acacia or other plant suited to your area.. if you are harvesting the confusa yourself i would recommend phyllodes and stem bark in terms of harm reduciton to the plant

i guess the more i look into it, i might just have to get acacia confusa root bark, its the only thing that seems available, and probably the easiest to use q21s tek, which is my preferred method of extraction anyways, unless another tek is strongly recommended?...

Howdy

I also am from the east coast and it seems that MHRB is gone. Acacia confusa seems to be your best bet, and also apparently has a higher concentraion of DMT alkaloid in the roobark then MHRB. Even online at stores and junk, it seems MHRB is sold out or "out of stock".

Nice to see someone looking for Alternatives...
There must be green fields waiting to be mowed somewhere.

Would you ever consider extracting from a BUFO FROG?
he will make that for you pretty easily :P

i have not considered using the bufo frog, i prefer to stick with plants. is there a thread out there that may help me identify different types of grass in my area?? or should i just take samples from a golf course, try to extract, and see what happens??

Ive been thinking about chacruna more as a viable source. Although the alkaloid content is far to low to do a standard extraction on, one could easily make a more concentrated chacruna the way one makes a more concentrated caapi leaf to create changa. If enough leaves are used and the concentration in a small enough amount of leaf is achieved, I would use a tek like cyb's that ensures a high enough partition coefficient to get the most spice out of what you have. I have not tried this myself yet but plan on it in the near future. We need to find as many sources as possible to keep the community ripe with spice.

in all my searches on google for dmt containing plants, all i get is mimosa, acacia, phalaris, and other "exotic" plants that i have no access to, there seems to be literally no info on dmt containing plants easily found in the usa

0.3% shouldn't be considered too low for extraction.... people need to lower their standards a bit after the mhrb phase. a 1-2% yield is very special.... but the cure for yield is simply more material. the plant i extract from has the same yield and i can still extract perfectly fine quantities of dmt by adding a few more handfuls of leaves... 300g of leaves for a gram of dmt is great in the scheme of things. the only real issue with chacruna is the higher level of plant fats and oils... but a double a/b extraction will solve this with ease. but yeah i agree 100% people need to expand their sources!

Another member of the nexus just yielded 2.85% after four pulls using acacia, so it seems the 1-2% is no something of the past. I feel like we can push what materials we do have access to to their limit and with acacia this limit might be really high. I'm looking forward to trying some for myself.

Amen! And places like the nexus will enable that to happen. You never know what kind of sea change can occur though, maybe one day we wont have to sneak around and moan over lack of availability. When I was a youngster smoking pot, I never thought I'd see legalization in my lifetime. In my state, we have MM and a couple miles north in WA, they legalized rec use. Sooo, who knows, maybe in twenty MORE years, some level heads will prevail in Congress and we will have entheogen access and everyone will love one another and we will have a healthy happy world. Or maybe not.
