Growing logs with advice and results.

lemon balm is said to help reduce anxiety/depression and improve sleep also aids digestion.

I haven't played with this stuff much but it seems like a good plant medicine for me and what I'm going through at the moment.

Anyone work with these? As medicine OR cultivating, I know basically nothing about it...

Lemon balm is a wonderful plant to get to know. I grow it in pots and love quiddinh mouthfuls of the leaves, though I'm a sucker for weird intense pungent tastes lol.

It definitely brings a lot of calm ime. Sweetens the space it is in.

i love lemon balm. i grow it every year in my garden and it is very difficult to kill. it is the mint family so it is invasive as far as some people are concerned. i grow it in pots so it doesn't go crazy, though i would have no problem if it did. i have other mints going crazy in my garden and i love them.

just keep it moist, but not soaked and they will do fine with little food. you can feed them a small amount with whatever you have if you chose, but i have gone a whole year with no fertilizer and they grew fine. when i do feed i use a very small amount of fish blood and bone in the beginning of the season. i think for best results you can feed a couple of times in a season but i don't think it is necessary.

i keep mine in slight shade. in mid season they get direct sun in the morning for maybe 8 hours, i would guess, then shade for the rest of the day, but i think they are so hardy they will be fine wherever you put them.
